Junior Sales Counsellor

About the role.
LeapUp EduTech is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Junior Sales Counsellor to promote and sell our range of online courses. In this role, you will engage with prospective students, understand their learning needs and guide them toward suitable course offerings.
The ideal candidate has a passion for education, strong communication skills and the ability to convert enquiries into enrolments.
What you’ll do.
Course promotion & sales
- Promote and sell LeapUp’s online courses to prospective students.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable learning programmes.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Inside sales
- Manage inbound and outbound calls to engage with prospective students.
- Conduct counselling sessions over phone and Zoom to explain course offerings and address queries.
- Provide customised course recommendations based on students’ career goals and interests.
- Use CRM tools to track leads, manage the sales pipeline and record sales activities.
- Follow up with potential leads to nurture relationships and convert enquiries into enrolments.
Customer relationship management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and partner institutions.
- Guide and support students throughout the enrolment process.
- Ensure a positive student experience during the admission journey.
Market research & insights
- Stay updated with industry trends and competitor offerings in the EdTech space.
- Collect feedback from students and prospects to support product improvement and marketing initiatives.
Sales reporting
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems.
- Prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts for management review.
What we’re looking for.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education or a related field.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
