You need a bachelor's degree in any discipline — final-year students can apply too. No prior accounting background is required. Two years of work experience in management accounting or financial management is also required, but this can be completed even after you clear the exam.

Yes, IMA (Student/Professional) membership is required to sit for the exams. It's payable directly to the IMA, separate from the LeapUp course fee.
Both parts are computer-based exams held at Prometric test centres across India, offered in three windows each year: Jan–Feb, May–Jun and Sep–Oct.
Most candidates complete both parts in 12–18 months. It's self-paced, so it can be faster with full-time study or spread out alongside a job.
